On August 25th Pro Wrestling Evolution is back in Concord, NC and back on Ippv! Following up their first successful Ippv ‘Live & In Stereo’ from June 30th, EVO presents their annual ‘This Is Wrestling’ event for just $9.99 featuring a huge 4 way Main Event for the PWEvo Heavyweight Championship. “The Queen City Killer” Zack Salvation defends against BOTH members of the Cirkus Marcellus King & Cedric Alexander as well as “The Port City King” KC McKnight. I’ll take a complete look at this big event as the EVOlution in Pro Wrestling continues on August 25th.

EVO Open Session
Prior to August 25th’s huge Ippv Pro Wrestling EVO will have their second “Open Session” welcoming talents to come in and prove themselves in the ring with some of the best current talents on the EVO roster. The first “Open Session” was a huge success as EVO found Robyn Golphin at that tryout and the young man from Detroit has taken full advantage of that opportunity. EVO provides that same opportunity for some of the guys taking part in the “Open Session” on August 25th as the top talent(s) will be invited to participate in a match at ‘This Is Wrestling’.

Jason Blade vs “Mr. Elite” Drew Meyers

Mr. Elite makes his return to Pro Wrestling EVO and has improved his in ring game in the last 3-4 months. Jason Blade is a talent I’m unfamiliar with and will make his debut at ‘This Is Wrestling’. I’m sure if Blade has passed the standards test of the EVO promoters and officials he will deliver live on Ippv. We last saw Mr. Elite in a tough battle, ultimately losing to Derek Ryze. Who will pick up a victory and get themselves on the EVO radar?

SuperHEX Grudge Match
Joe Black vs “Relentless” Robyn Golphin

Golphin and Black both competed admirably in the inagural SuperHEX points series with Black being near the top of the leaderboard throughout and ultimately finishing 3rd overall. Golphin who is coming up on the one year mark of his EVO career struggled a bit but broke through with his first win in June against Derek Ryze. Immediately following ‘Live & In Stereo’ Golphin & Black took to Twitter and stated their urge to face one another. That match has been granted and WILL have an impact on the future of the SuperHEX division once the champion is crowned in September or October.

Caleb Konley vs Adam Page

Konley hasn’t been seen in Pro Wrestling Evo since a great battle with Arik Royal at Vive La Evolucion as he has been traveling to many different promotions but he makes his way back to Ippv on August 25th to face a man who debuted last month for EVO, Adam Page. These two guys are evenly matched athletically and in styles so this one should be a good battle as Page tries to rebound from a loss at John Skyler in June and Konley tries to reassert himself as a major player in the EVO landscape.

Clash of the Titans?

Pro Wrestling EVO has stated that they received an “interesting email” from the officials of Premeire Wrestling Xperience and have invited them to be ringside this Saturday to address the situation. What does the future hold for the two hottest Independent companies in the world right now? Is there a working agreement in the near future or will this situation result in a feud for Ultimate Supremacy?

Corey Hollis & Chip Day vs The Bravado Brothers

Pro Wrestling EVO welcomes The Bravado Brothers on August 25th to challenge a well established tag team from the SouthEast in Corey Hollis & Chip Day. The Bravados are turning a lot of heads since returning from NOAH in Japan while Hollis & Day bring a perfect mixture of innovative offense and brutal striking. Will the Bravados make a lasting first impression on Pro Wrestling EVO? Or will it be Hollis & Day who score a huge victory on Ippv?

Chiva Kid vs Circo

This match was originally intended to be the SuperHEX finals with Chiva facing Kirby Mack. Mack however has another engagement on August 25th(or is perhaps playing some mind games with Chiva) at any rate it opens the door for the former “Man Creature” of Marcellus King- Circo to return to EVO. We last saw Circo as the surprise tag partner of Zack Salvation taking on The Cirkus at Vive La Evolucion. Can Chiva keep the momentum rolling as he moves toward being crowned the first SuperHEX champion? And what can we expect from Circo? This one should be all over the place and is a possible show stealer.

4 Way Pro Wrestling Evo Championship Match
“The Queen City Killer” Zack Salvation (c) vs Cedric Alexander vs Marcellus “The Mid-Atlantic” King vs “The Port City King” KC McKnight

4 of THE best indies in the Mid-Atlantic face off in this huge main event. The champion has a tough road to retain is title, with his two biggest rivals in Alexander and King and an always game McKnight all hunting for the EVO Championship. Just last month The Cirkus left Zack Salvation laying in the middle of the ring less than an hour after McKnight & King had one of the best brawls you could ever see, with no winner. Something has to give on August 25th, EVO officials have said this match will have NO time limit and Salvation says he is up for the challenge, and until proven otherwise he is the best. Will the Cirkus continue their reign or Terror? Will KC McKnight claim a little championship gold on his way to WWE/NXT in Tampa? On August 25th it’s Good vs Evil!
